Everyone on our professional team is a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and is licensed by the State of New York to practice Physical Therapy. DPTs have professional doctoral degrees which require intensive classroom education in foundational sciences, behavioral sciences and clinical sciences; and hands-on clinical practice under the supervision of state-licensed Physical Therapists in both in-patient and out-patient rehabilitation settings. With this amount of intensive education, you can be assured that our therapists have a thorough, clinically-based knowledge of the musculoskeletal system, human movement and function, and rehabilitation. |
